Bilderback Art Plaza Hosts Ste. Gen Art Guild

The Ste. Genevieve Art Guild will be featured at the prestigious Bilderback Art Plaza in Cape Girardeau beginning June 1, with the opening of a show titled "The Best of Ste. Genevieve." Some two-dozen artists are expected to participate. A "meet the artists" reception will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on that date, in conjunction with Cape's First Friday art event...

Girl Scout Volunteer Honored

Pamala Roche` was awarded the Appreciation Pin for dedication and service to the Girl Scouts of Missouri Heartland at the Girl Scout's 100th year anniversary celebration in Springfield, Missouri. Pam became a co-leader in 2002. She and her "mom mobile" would be loaded with girls heading out to local Girl Scout activities. Although her scouts have all grownup, she continues to volunteer by donating a week of her time each summer to be "Nurse Pam" at summer day camp...
