It's Time for the St Mary School Dinner Auction!!!

On February 18th, the St Mary Home and School Association will once again proudly present our annual Dinner Auction, now in it's 22nd year! This year's theme is HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD - and we hope that many guests will join the fun and dress up as their favorite Hollywood star! Tickets are still available, and entry includes a fine meal catered by Ray's of Kelso, plus admission to the night's festivities including silent and oral auctions, entertainment by emcee Mr.Scott Givens and musical entertainment by St Louis band Fanfare! Raffles include a chance to win a trip for 2 to Hawaii, a spirit wagon, a gorgeous ring, plus lots of other prizes! More than five years after the city of Cape Girardeau purchased an 82-acre site near Dutchtown for use as a city landfill, city officials are now seeking bids for the sale of the farmland which has never been developed as a landfill. The Jackson Board of Aldermen has set a Feb. 16 date for a public hearing for the friendly annexation of 47.878 acres recently purchased by the Jackson Industrial Development Company as an expansion of its industrial park program...
