LETTERS: CRITICISM WAS AIMED AT NEWSPAPER
(Letter to the Editor ~ 05/28/99)
To the editor:I owe Ms. McCoy a sincere and heartfelt apology. As I said in my letter, I think her graduating from high school with a 5-month-old baby is an accomplishment. SPEAKOUT
(Speak Out ~ 05/28/99)
I WAS delighted to learn that Dr. Nitzschke is resigning as president of the university but terribly dismayed to learn that he is staying on as a fund raiser. He will bankrupt everyone in the city before we can get rid of him. THE SWEETHEART contract and backroom secrecy of the recent Nitzschke-Dobbins arrangement is characteristic of Democratic machine politics, not the administration of a comprehensive, regional university. ...
