Former President Donald Trump recently proposed that seniors should not be taxed on Social Security benefits. Currently, Social Security benefits are taxed based on combined income, which includes adjusted gross income, non-taxable interest and half of the benefits. Individuals with combined income below $25,000 and couples below $32,000 are not taxed, but higher incomes can result in up to 85% of benefits being taxed. Do you agree with Trump's proposal to eliminate income tax on Social Security benefits?
