Tax freeze
What has been decided as far as the freeze on the Missouri passed senior citizen property tax freeze? Has this been dropped by our commissioners?

I want to thank the Southeast Missourian for being able to continue to publish. I miss the six days a week publications and the home deliveries but am willing to deal with the three day a week via mail in order to receive local news. Jon and others, a genuine thank you.
Trump's delusion
Trump is delusional enough to think that because he's the Republican front-runner the general election will be a breeze. He doesn't realize that he's lost 40% of the GOP votes already because many of Nikki Haley's supporters won't vote for Trump and many of those said they'd vote for Biden before they vote for Trump.
Texas fires
With wildfires raging in Texas and families and businesses suffering from them, I can assure you that Joe Biden will provide emergency services with FEMA and other agencies with compassion and empathy regardless of the animosity and disdain shown by Gov. Abbott. An act that selfless would have been beyond anything Trump could have ever comprehended.
Illinois judge
The judge in Illinois that ruled Trump cannot be on the state primary ballot is practicing voter suppression, which I thought is illegal. He or she should be disbarred for this ruling. We should have the right to vote for any person we want. Let the voters decide!
Biden's decline
President Biden's doctor said Biden does not need a cognitive test. I believe his doctor should be required to take one, a blind person could see Biden's mental decline.
Jackson tax
I'll vote for the Jackson school tax increase once we start prioritizing academics over athletics. You know? Like when we stop spending $400,000 on a football field and complain we don't have money for kids. Or maybe when we have as many resource officers as we have administrators. Or maybe when we get real about a fair wage for teachers who work seven months out of the year with no weekends and no holidays. In other words, I won't be voting for the tax increase.
Stop the violence
Another young person shot and killed on the streets of Cape Girardeau. Apparently she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Another failure of our fatherless society. We have generations of fathers who have not been good role models. Many are constantly in an out of jail, or they have been killed themselves at a young age. Our society has made gangs and drugs glamorous. Just listen to the music kids listen to today. It's a reflection of our youth. There was once a time where the nuclear family was the norm, especially in the Black community. Discipline and respect went hand in hand. Now too many young men have neither.

Judging from the mugshots and all the apostrophe usage I say those murderers at CVS were doomed from the second that the baby mama signed the birth certificate.
